Today was monday, which i hate the most because it means the start of another long week of school again, basically lessons that im trying hard to absorb into my brain which i barely could,

well, in life, there are many friends you will meet and make, with different kinds of friends, like those Hi-and-Bye friends, some friends who use you only, your true friends who is always there for you, and lastly, your best friend whom you will cherish a lot.

there are bound to be up and downs,misunderstandings and etc in every friendship, I, myself, thinks that i`ve already met 3 of the mention groups of friends that i said earlier, which is, hi and bye, friends who use me, and true friends,

I`ve been use by this friend for a lot of times,betrayed and lied to alot of times, and yet, there is still this friend whom is always there for me.i`ve also meet alot of friends but alot of them are now gone already, lost contacts with them and etc, but lastly

throughout my whole life, i`ve never stilll be able to find my best friend yet, someone whom is always there to talk to me, lend me his/her ears, and to comfort me in times of need, sometimes, i really feel isolated and lonely, even in church, idk why, but i always feel lonely and isolated all around, like there`s no one to talk to at all, i cna only look on in envy as those people have thier own best friend while i do not, always keeping things to myself and talking to myself all the time,

hmm, well, the weekend was as awesome as usual, awesome worship and preaching, plus had alot of fun with the region people though, know that i gotta cherish my time with them before im gone,

time flies and its already july, end of school holidays and schools start already, life is busy again with homework and much more. well, so lately, as usual, enjoyed Edge service every weekend, the only place that you would only wanna be on a saturday evening and you will not want to miss it. then on sunday, i just finished the Word, now moving on to the Prayer, hopefully it will be as exciting as my previous lessons.

Though we lost, at least im happy with the rest of the team and congrats to Xf. The better team had won. A lot of mistakes and turnovers were commited but we cn learn from it and work on our mistakes and thus, improve. but still, thanks for trying your best in the match. team rojak:) LOL

today was basically srotting at home the whole day, couldnt drag myself up for school, so ya,ended up sleeping like a pig and got up around 10plus. then it was just basically me in the room all the way and only went out to buy some stuffs.

well today had regional youth activity again, went to sentosaaaaaaaaaaaa:) haha upon there, had a best od 3 series of captain ball, winner gets cornetto:) and in the end, we got it:) team two rocks man,LOL, after activity, we rush down to yishun building cause late already but still managed to reach edge a little late only and as usual, worship was awesomeeee:) so yea, went for dinner after that, had a great time man, was so hyper and kept on fooling around and kept on making people,haha after that went to arcade and played, won my sis in basketball:P haha then went to play the latest initial d 5, damn shiok man, the map totally change, won shi yong and lost to him once, after that rush home le, then now using computer le:)

hmm, i was pondering about something yesterday, and reflected on my weaknesses and managed to know it already, so yea, this is what i observe,

firstly, everytime during the match, i realise that i`ve been angry for far too often on my team whenever they made jsut one mistake or concede a point, as in, why? when did i ever became someone who lost his temper so easily? is it the drive of winning the match at all cost caused me to be like that? because of this reason, i eneded up pissing off someone neccessarily till that person ignore me hardcore and dont wanna forgive me.

secondly,pressure, i cant seem to handle pressure and always succumb to pressure so easily, everyime during the match, whatever i do, i will always feel this pressure in me, and causes me to mis-shot my shots and stuffs, why cant i just shake this pressure off? it has been on me since sec one, i really wanna shake it off man.

one day, i really feel like shaking off all this weaknesses of mine, i really wanna be a normal baller that wont vent my anger on my team mates for every mistakes they made and succumb to pressure all the time, i really wanan get rid of all this weaknesses of mine...im struggling with it man...

hmm, went to watch the c boys nz final on thursday, quite exciting and i really felt that they could have won after putting up such a good fight against presby. though both girls and guys lost, still congrats to them for being 2nd and proud of them too cause this is the first time the two team went to the finals before, so ya, congrats uh :)

yesterday lost 38-34, kinda piss of and disappointed after the match though, we could have won, everytime we always lead first but still lost in the end, is it a mental barrier or what? i do not know but all i really hope is we can win them on our next meetingm for we know we can win, ok, dont talk about it already.

yo i am back:) i felt so amazing after the Gns, totally felt something that i`ve never felt before:) the sight of seeing tons of people coming down,and some even running down during the altar call, totally touch my heart and it was surely an amazing sight to see.

Day 1 of GNS
well, on the first day, the whole stadium was totally full house man, the night was simply marvellous as the sermon was interesting, where reinhard describe the sinner like drowning in a pool of water,where Jesus is offering his hand to save them from the water and stop them from drowning in the sea of sins, then during the altar call, more than a thousand came down for salvation and it was simply an awesome sight to see many people accepting christ at one single moment, simply touching,

Day 2 of GNS
day 2 of it, like usual, was another amazing night . i was on duty as usher and counsellor and had to guide people to their seats, super tiring man, then during sermon, ate alot of junk food there, calbee chips, lollipop,chocalate and everything nice,LOL, but still got listen to the sermon, this time, he describe them as birds enclosed in a cage, where they have been inside it for their whole life in the cage of sin, then he explain that there are some who use to be free, but got caught and was in the cage again, so he went on to ask for those who wanted to be free from the cage and hundres came down again, all confessing their sins and accepting christ, then testimony time, HILARIOUS MAN,LOL, got this old lady, was healed and could walk without wheel chair already, came onto stage and said on the mic, CAN WALK LE in hokkien everyone was cheering for her, then got this china guy, came on stage, then blast on the mic, then people around were laughing, lol and then he went on and on talking,lol, so yea, that night was unforgettable:)

Day 3 of GNS
the last night of gns, had coporate service in the morning, PLANETSHAKERS were leading worship:)haha simply awesome man, their songs were so awesome:):):) especially their `The anthem`, haha then their drummer, me and my friends kept on laughing at his expression cause he was simply hilarious,LOL, then went to bowl at kallang leisure park with shi yong, won him man:P LOL haha then went abck for GNS rally, worship, TOTALLY SHIOK MAN! can go in front and worship then all the youth jump around, lol then after taht sermon again but forgot what he said== lol but salvation call, hundreds came up again, truly amazing :)

so ya, during the whole GNS rally, really felt touch by all the salvations, all the people accepting christ, trult an awesome sight to see and touching too, so ya, this 3 nights, really felt God`s presence and his miracles,wodner and signs was shown through all the healings, those inspiring testimonies that God is simply a God that cares for us:) so ya, GNS 2009 simply rocks man:)

today woke up at 9, then went downstairs to play bball with my other friends, had fun there tricking people,LOL, after that play til l12 pluus then went home le, came home, shower then slept for awhile, wake up le, then went to 515 to paly bball again== teach there le, saw amos and justin, 3 of us play till 6 when the twins went off but i stayed, then soon, eunice and jia hui and the rest soon came le, then played match till 7 plus, was quite happy though cause we won an `impossible` match:) haha so after that yea, went for net at pizza hut at cwp, wa, shiok man, net leader, jenna treated us sia:)haha thanks uh:) so yea, after that went home le, now bloggging, dunno what to topic to blog about topic, hmm, ok, i think i`ve found it le, today will talk about loving your enemy:)

God is Love: How do we Define Love?"

God is Love", but how do we define it? The American Heritage Dictionary defines love as "an intense affection for another person based on familial or personal ties". Often this "intense affection" stems from a sexual attraction for that other person. We love other people, or we say we love other people, when we are attracted to them and when they make us feel good. Notice that a key phrase in the dictionary definition of love is the phrase "based on". This phrase implies that we love conditionally; in other words, we love someone because they fulfill a condition that we require before we can love them. How many times have you heard or said, "I love you because you are cute;" or "I love you because you take good care of me;" or "I love you because you are fun to be with"? Our love is not only conditional, it is also mercurial. We love based on feelings and emotions that can change from one moment to the next. The divorce rate is extremely high in today's society because husbands and wives supposedly stop loving one another-or they "fall out of love". They may go through a rough patch in their marriage, and they no longer "feel" love for their spouse, so they call it quits. Evidently, their marriage vow of "till death do us part" means they can part at the death of their love for their spouse rather than at their physical death. Can anyone really comprehend "unconditional" love? It seems the love that parents have for their children is as close to unconditional love as we can get without the help of God's love in our lives. We continue to love our children through good times and bad, and we don't stop loving them if they don't meet the expectations we may have for them. We make a choice to love our children even when we consider them unlovable; our love doesn't stop when we don't "feel" love for them. This is similar to God's love for us, but as we shall see, God's love transcends the human definition of love to a point that is hard for us to comprehend.

God is Love: How does God Define Love?

The Bible tells us that "God is Love" (1 John 4:8). But how can we even begin to understand that truth? There are many passages in the Bible that give us God's definition of love. The most well known verse is John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." So one way God defines love is in the act of giving. However, what God gave (or should we say, "who" God gave) was not a mere gift-wrapped present; God sacrificed His only Son so that we, who put our faith in His Son, will not spend eternity separated from Him. This is an amazing love, because we are the ones who choose to be separated from God through our own sin, yet it's God who mends the separation through His intense personal sacrifice, and all we have to do is accept His gift. Another great verse about God's love is found in Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." In this verse and in John 3:16, we find no conditions placed on God's love for us. God doesn't say, "as soon as you clean up your act, I'll love you; " nor does He say, "I'll sacrifice my Son if you promise to love Me." In fact, in Romans 5:8, we find just the opposite. God wants us to know that His love is unconditional, so He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us while we were still unlovable sinners. We didn't have to get clean, and we didn't have to make any promises to God before we could experience His love. His love for us has always existed, and because of that, He did all the giving and sacrificing long before we were even aware that we needed His love.

God is Love: It's Unconditional

God is Love, and His love is very different from human love. God's love is unconditional, and it's not based on feelings or emotions. He doesn't love us because we're lovable or because we make Him feel good; He loves us because He is love. He created us to have a loving relationship with Him, and He sacrificed His own Son (who also willingly died for us) to restore that relationship.

God is Love: How Should we Define Love?

When the Scriptures say, "God is love," they aren't telling us that God is some nebulous, warm fuzzy feeling of love. The writers who penned the scriptures weren't saying that in our limited form of human love we will find God. Not at all -- in fact, when we read that God is love in the Bible, this means that God defines love. And when we say that God defines love, we don't mean that He defines it like Webster might define something -- we mean that God is the very definition of love itself. There is no such thing as love without God. As hard as we might try, we cannot define love outside of knowing God. This essentially means that our human definition of love is false. God is the Creator of all things, and by His very nature, He is love. God says love is unconditional and sacrificial, and it's not based on feelings; therefore, love is not an "intense affection… based on familial or personal ties". To understand what true love is and to be able to truly love others, we must know God, and we can do this through a close personal relationship with Him. We can have that close relationship with God by putting our faith in Jesus Christ, who was God's sacrifice of love for us.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another." Most people understand hope as wishful thinking, as in "I hope something will happen." This is not what the Bible means by hope. The Biblical definition of hope is "confident expectation." Hope is a firm assurance regarding things that are unclear and unknown (Romans 8:24-25; Hebrews 11:1,7). Hope is a fundamental component of the life of the righteous (Proverbs 23:18). Without hope, life loses its meaning (Lamentations 3:18, Job 7:6) and in death there is no hope (Isaiah 38:18, Job 17:15). The righteous who trust or put their hope in God will be helped (Psalm 28:7), and they will not be confounded, put to shame, or disappointed (Isaiah 49:23). The New Testament idea of hope is the recognition that in Christ is found the fulfillment of the Old Testament promises and hope (Matthew 12:21, 1 Peter 1:3). Christian hope is rooted in the faith in the eschatological (end time judgment) act of divine salvation in Christ (Galatians 5:5). Hope of Christians is brought into being through the presence of the promised Holy Spirit (Romans 8:24-25). It is the future hope of the resurrection of the dead (Acts 23:6), the promises given to Israel (Acts 26:6-7), the redemption of the body and of the whole creation (Romans 8:23-25), eternal glory (Colossians 1:27), eternal life and the inheritance of the saints (Titus 3:5-7), the return of Christ (Titus 2:11-14), transformation into the likeness of Christ (1 John 3:2-3), the salvation of God (1 Timothy 4:10) or simply Christ Himself (1 Timothy 1:1).

woohoo, back from the edge, had a meaningful lesson from the word of god, but was rather shock at the topic though, haha anyway, after that went to ishi mura for dinner, got caught up in the rain and was kinda wet upon reaching northpoint, so went up to ishi mura then had our dinner, after eating, came the interesting part,

haha so yea, it really caught me, and what it means in short is to stop all our sins and and stop whatever sinful things we are doing that is detestable to God, and repent, for God will forgive your sins and wipe it away, For Jesus died on the cross for us so that all our sins could be washed away:)

yay:) a miracle happened yesterday:) on the way to the cinema, i tried to smuggle my cup of coke in,so i put into my bag, which was filled with my jacket, pencil box,notebook, psp, and of cause, my bible:) haha and so yea, when i managed to smuggle through, and went to the toilet, i realised the cup topple and spill over==, so yea, took out everything, the results were:

psp= spoiled
jacket=uber wet
pencil box=wet too
notebook= totally wet
bible= TOTALLY CLEAN AND NOTHING HAPPEN TO IT AT ALL:) PRAISE THE LORD:)

then she and the two guys who were with her tried to bullied justin, forcing him to make a choice when he doesnt have too. he could just simply walk away instead of chosing whether to fight with one of the two guys or strip and run around the court(freaking pervert ) in the end, luckily got one adult friend help him, they had no choice but to leave in the end but if im not wrong, they`ll be back to find us on monday uh=,= then she will boast about who is she again-,- so bhb-,- so after that incident, went back to bball till 6 plus before all of them had to go off. went to kfc for dinner after that and then even messaged me, asked me go school outside bball with him. i told him yes le then go there bball. end up bballing there till 10plus. damn bloody tired. so now posting and crapping on redsport with some funny people-.-

yawn! today so boring again. holidays are just like school days.so boring except that there are no lessons. today did nothinng much, just went downstairs to play basketball and nothing else liao.came back home use com liao then nw wan go sleep le. bye

today woke up as usual. then eat breakfast then go shower liao. went to cwp immediately after that to meet up with rest of my team mates for today`s match. on our way there, we shared alot of man`s secrets^^ and it was quite fun too^^ hehe. then soon,we reached and we went to the match venue.upon reaching there, we changed and warmup and soon, it was ou match^^. and it was a nice match.72-10^^ grats to gareth for being MVP today for scoring 40plus points:) and i at least got some time on the field today.almost freak out bt still at least put in an average performance. after match, went to cwp for dinner then meet up with gabriel friends and the siao char bo=.=, who was laughing all the way-.-lll and then ater that,went home liao, post till here ba.

today nothing much to post. jus woke up wash up, eat breakfast and then slept again. went to play basketball immediately after waking up again till5 plus. then went online and nothing much to do except for chiongiong getamped. In short, today is a BORING day. Think i`ll post till here ba.
